10 carriages were built to diagram 11 between 1930 and 1934. Some running on Truss rod frames whilst others received angle iron.
3 of the vehicles allocated to the GN section ran as unclassed, the remainder operated as 1st class.

Bogies were generally 8'6 heavies (available shortly). All 10 received both Crimson and Cream livery as well as Maroon, the last carriage being withdrawn in 1964.
