Isinglass Finescale drawings
We hold the unique collection of Isinglass finescale drawings by the highly respected late John Edgson. Created over 5 decades, John, a British Railways Civil Engineer, combined an eye for detail and in-depth research of railway archives to produce over 500 highly detailed drawings of locomotives and rolling stock of the LNER and constituent companies from the early 20th Century to the end of mainline steam in the United Kingdom.
