The East Anglian first ran on September 27th 1937 between Norwich and Liverpool Street, in both directions stopping only at Ipswich. It was allowed 2 hours 15 minutes and ran Monday to Friday. Consisting of 6 carriages, no spare stock was built and was hauled by the streamlined B17/5 locomotives.
The set comprises all 6 carriages, with a brake third open at each end, a first open, a third open and restaurant first and third carriages.
Interior detail includes seats, tables, partitions and corridor walls for the kitchen cars.
The carriages were cascaded down to general service and are also available as individual kits.
